ICONZ Wired Country Troubleshooting Guide

Firstly, it's always best to restart your computer as a first step to troubleshooting, so please try this now.

If you still can't connect, it's possible there's an issue with the configuration of your Wired Country connection

You will need to remove and recreate your Wired Country connection.

From network connections, right click on the icon for your connection (it should be under the heading Broadband.)

Select Delete from the menu.

Click Start and open the control panel

From the control panel, open Network Connections

From network connections, click Create a new connection.

This will open the New Connection Wizard.

Click next on the wizard to continue.

Select Connect to the internet and click next.

Select Set up my connection manually and click next

Select Connect using a broadband connection that requires a username and password and click next.

Type ICONZ as your ISP name, and click next

Type in your Wired Country username and password. Your username will be in the following format: username@wiredc.iconz.co.nz

NOTE: If you do not know your username and password details, please call the ICONZ helpdesk on 0800 THE NET (843 638)

Once you have entered these details, click next.

Click Finish to create the connection.

You should be presented with a window similar to the following:

Click connect.

Once this has connected, check to see if you can access the internet.

If you still can't connect , please call us on 0800 THE NET (843 638) and let us kow the error that you're getting.
