ICONZ Wired Country Troubleshooting Guide

Please locate your broadband router/modem. This is the device that is connected between your Wired Country device and your computer. Your router may look similar to the following device, however there are many other routers that can be used for a Wired Country connection.

Once you have located your router, you will need to restart it. Please turn the device off for at least one minute, then turn it back on.

Allow the router at least 30 seconds to reconnect itself, and then test to see if your internet connection is now working.

If not, please read on.

On your computer, click Start and open the control panel

In the control panel, open Network Connections

Look under the heading LAN or High Speed Internet.

You should see an icon with information similar to the following:

If so, please click here

If instead you see the below:

Right-click on the Local Area Connection icon, and click enable

Once the Local Area Connection has returned to a Connected state, test again to see if you can access the internet. If not, click here

If you see the below:

There is a communication problem between your router and your computer. You could try:

- Restarting the router

- Checking cables between the router and your computer

- Replacing the router
