This means that your computer is not detecting your IPSTAR terminal. Check that the terminal is connected correctly to the computer, and that the cables are securely in place. You could also try restarting the computer and the terminal. If this problem persists, there is likely to be a problem with:
- the network card on your computer
- the network port on the terminal
- the cable connecting these devices.
As a testing measure, you could try using a different computer, or a different cable (if these are available to you).
New Ethernet cables can be purchased from any decent computer hardware retailer (eg. Dick Smith). If you are connecting your computer directly to the terminal, you should take care to purchase a 'cross-over' Ethernet cable, rather than a 'patch cable'.
If you have any doubts or questions about the problem, or you suspect there is an issue with the network port on the terminal, feel free to give our Technical Support Team a call on 0800 843 638 (option 3), and we'll be happy to help.
