Email Set Up - Instructions for Microsoft Outlook
This guide to setting up e-mail is for customers using Microsoft Outlook. If you are using Microsoft Outlook Express, please click here.
Open Outlook. Click on Tools, and then click on Email-Accounts.

A new window similar to the below should open. To add a new mail account, click Add a new e-mail account. If you wish to edit and existing account, click here

Select POP3 server type, and click Next.

You should be presented with another screen requesting User Information

Under User Information, enter your name and email address in the respective fields.
Under Server Information, choose the appropriate incoming and outgoing servers as outlined below:
For @iconz.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: pop3.iconz.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.iconz.co.nz
For @internet.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: pop3.internet.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.internet.co.nz
For @ezysurf.co.nz AND @e3.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: pop3.visp.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: smtp.visp.co.nz
Please Note If your internet connection is with a different provider, you will need to use their outgoing mail server.
Under Logon Information, enter your username (your username will be the first part of your email address before the @ symbol) and password.
If you have forgotten or lost your username or password, please give us a call on 0800 843 638, and we'll be happy to help.
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) should be unticked
Click on Test Account Settings to ensure all fields have been filled out correctly. If they have, you should see the following:

To complete the wizard, click Next and then click Finish.

To begin receiving and sending mail, click Send/Receive.
