Email Set Up - Instructions for Microsoft Outlook Express
This guide to setting up e-mail is for customers using Outlook Express. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, please click here
Open Outlook. Click on Tools, and then click on Accounts.

To add a new mail account, click Add, and select Mail. If you want to edit an existing mail account, click here.

Enter your name or company name in the Display Name field, and click 'Next'.

Enter your full ICONZ, e3 or Ezysurf email address in this field, and click Next.

You should be presented with the following:

From the drop-down box for your incoming mail server, select to be a POP3 server.
For the 'incoming' and 'outgoing' server fields, enter the appropriate server names for your email address as follows:
For @iconz.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.iconz.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.iconz.co.nz
For @internet.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.internet.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.internet.co.nz
For @ezysurf.co.nz AND @e3.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.visp.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.visp.co.nz
Please Note If your internet connection is with a different provider, you will need to use their outgoing mail server.
Once you have filled out these fields, click Next.
Enter the username and password you selected for the email address (your username will be the first part of your email address before the @ symbol) and click Next.
Log on using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) should be unticked

Click Finish to complete the wizard.

Click 'close' to return to the main screen.

Click Send/Receive to begin receiving mail.
