Edit Email Set Up - Instructions for Entourage
This is a guide to checking e-mail settings in Entourage. If you use the default mail program in Mac OS X, often known simply as 'Mail', please click here.
To check your e-mail settings in Entourage, please follow these steps.
Start Microsoft Entourage 2001. If you have not yet installed it, you will need to do so before continuing with this guide.
Once the program is open, click Tools, and select the Accounts from the drop down menu.

There should be an account listed under the Mail tab. If there isn't, you'll need to create the account from scratch. To find out how to do that, click here.

If you do see an account listed here, click on it to select it and click edit. You should now see the following box:

Make sure Include this account in my Send & Receive All schedule is ticked.
Your name should be in the Name field, but this is not essential for the account to work.
Your full e-mail address should be entered in the E-mail Address field.
Make sure your username is entered correctly into the Account ID field, and that there are some dots in the password field. If in doubt, it's always a good idea to re-enter your password, just to be sure it's set correctly. If you're unsure of your username or password, please feel free to give us a call on 0800 843 638.
Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers should be set as below
For @iconz.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.iconz.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.iconz.co.nz
For @internet.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.internet.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.internet.co.nz
For @ezysurf.co.nz AND @e3.co.nz email addresses:
Incoming (POP3) server: mail.visp.co.nz
Outgoing (SMTP) server: mail.visp.co.nz
Once all this information is set correctly, click OK. You should be returned to the Accounts screen, as shown at the start. Click the Close button at the top left corner of the box to close it.
You should now be able to send and receive e-mail. If not, please consult our guide to common problems, or give us a call.
