Dial Up Connection Set Up Instructions - Windows ME
Click on Start, then Settings and then Dial Up Networking. Click onto Make New Connection.
Type "internet" as the name for the computer you are dialing.
Click Next.
Enter the Area code as 087 and the Telephone number as 300397.
Check the Country code is New Zealand(64). Click Next.
Click on Finish, then carry on to the next step (below).
You will now have an Internet dial-up networking connection.
Right click onto the Internet icon and then select "Create Shortcut". You'll get a prompt asking you to make the shortcut on the Desktop instead. Click Yes.
Close the Dial Up Networking page.
That should take you back to your Desktop screen and you should see a new Shortcut called Shortcut to internet. You can connect to Internet by using that shortcut. Don't forget to enter your username and password when you do.
