BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Business Development Manager with a focus on managed hosting and internet solutions to drive company growth and provide excellent account service to a nominated portfolio of clients.
Your job will be to find and close opportunities by developing and maintaining key relationships in organizations across the Auckland region and to provide the highest level of attention to your named accounts.
To be considered for this position you will:
- Can demonstrate a track record of overachievement in your sales career
- Have experience in the IT sector preferably the managed hosting and internet solutions industry
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Have strong prospecting skills to initiate new relationships and identify new opportunities
- Have the ability to formulate creative solutions to maximise business opportunities.
- Have the ability to speak in business outcomes and focus on the benefits our hosting solutions will bring to clients’ organizations
- Have a passion for sales success with sharp business acumen

Network Engineer - Leadership Opportunity
- Established name in the data hosting / web services market
- Mix of hands-on technical, leadership, design and problem solving
We're looking for a skilled Network Engineer with the leadership skills to lead a small, highly committed and talented team of engineers; who provide a range of support across the ICONZ Group and their customers.
As the senior member of the Network Team, you'll be taking on a raft of responsibilities including:
- Network maintenance, monitoring, provisioning and fault resolution
- Design for new initiatives
- Network optimisation / capacity planning
- Management of key suppliers
- Mentoring and coaching your team
As such, we'll need you to bring a range of technical skills and experience, as below:
- Cisco - CCNP or above (or similar level experience)
- Senior level hands-on networking skills (switching and routing)
- Understanding of Layer 2 Protocols
- BGP / OSPF
- Firewall (pref Fortinet / Pix / Checkpoint)
Given this is a customer-driven and team-based environment, you'll need to be a top-notch communicator and be able to show a true level of commitment, adaptability, flexibility and a true team spirit. Strong problem resolution skills and a disciplined approach to your work will be key.
And of course, as the leader of the team, we would be looking for you to bring a real enthusiasm and energy towards ensuring your team are focused on providing the very best service they can.
The flexibility to work in a 24x7 on-call environment is also essential.
