Base Service

The VERSA Backup Suite base service is ideal for customers that require an on demand backup facility to their virtual servers. This includes on-disk 24 hour backup facilities which provide a full snapshot ‘point in time’ of the virtual server instance. Customers are then able to perform full or partial restoration of their Virtual Machine from the daily snapshot ‘recovery point’ should disaster strike. Backups on the base service are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days per year

Onsite retention policies

An onsite retention policy can be added to your service plan. This provides 8, 15 or 31 days of full backups (retention). We call these retention options, Onsite8, Onsite15 and Onsite31 respectively. All client backup data is hosted on equipment that is separate from the VERSA platform to maintain dependency and redundancy.

Offsite storage

For greater peace of mind, customers have the option to add an offsite tape rotation service to their VERSA Backup Suite. ICONZ VERSA backups are automated and peformed on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis.
