VERSA  is our scalable, affordable, cloud based platform of virtualized servers. Fully customise and provision new server instances rapidly, or take them down, all with root access, easy-to-use management tools and, all supported by our local New Zealand based 24 x 7 customer care team. You only pay for what's provisioned. Our online calculator enables you to instantly size VERSA cloud servers and plan for any capacity you may need in the future. VERSA is the most economical cloud service option from ICONZ and is a preferred option for web based applications.

AFFORDABILITY

Pricing for VERSA cloud servers start at just $95.00 per month including 10GB of international bandwidth. Since you can pay as you go, it's really easy and affordable to spin up a new VERSA cloud server when you need the additional computing power, then simply remove it when you're done

VERSATILITY

If your site or application has big fluctuations in traffic or computing power needs –spikes around special events, for example – you can easily add more system resource or provision additional servers, and then remove them once the demand subsides.  With ICONZ Flex-term contracts, there are no contracts, you do pay a little for this service so make sure you consider the other contract options or contact one of our sales team for advice.

FLEX-TERM CONTRACTS

As a dynamic and flexible computing resource, why not have the same when it comes to contracts? Why not indeed? ICONZ offer variable term contracts that we call 'Flex-term'. If you are unsure of the capacity you need or the time you need it, or merely want to try out the VERSA service then this is a great option. Term contracts are also available  on the VERSA service and we offer discounts against these.

RELIABILITY AND ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE

Our VERSA Cloud Hosting platform offers levels of reliability, redundancy  and performance that are simply not possible with a standard ‘off the shelf’ servers or other hosted server options.

• We have multiple HP c-7000 Blade enclosures located in separate Data Centres for High Availability (HA) and redundancy
• Each Blade enclosure has 4x 1GbE internet uplinks for redundancy and capacity.
• Each Blade server has two fibre channel HBA’s providing 4 paths to the EVA SAN arrays via two independent fibre channel fabrics.
• Each Blade benefits from N+1 power supplies per enclosure.
• Each Blade benefits from N+1 cooling fans per enclosure. If one fan fails the others increase their speed to offset the loss.
• Blade servers operate in a High Availability (HA) cluster. Servers can migrate between Blades in the event of a hardware failure reducing outages from hours to minutes.
• Each EVA SAN is equipped with two dedicated disk controllers redundantly connected to each and every disk in the array.
